Britney Spears’ sister Jamie Lynn is reportedly lined up for I’m A Celebrity, and could be joining the likes of Nigel Farage in the jungle.
The Zoey 101 star is the younger singer of the Toxic hitmaker, and was on another reality competition, Dancing With The Stars, just weeks ago.
However, it’s now been claimed she’s following in the footsteps of Matt Hancock and Caitlyn Jenner, and taking on Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly’s bushtucker trials.
A source has revealed the 32-year-old will be jetting to Australia for the show, saying: ‘Jamie Lynn has got decades of history and bad blood with Britney to rake over and has laid out her feelings pretty clearly in her own book.
The insider added to The Mirror: ‘It will be interesting to hear her spill the beans about her life and her family and the controversial conservatorship – and to find out whether the sisters really do get along now – or not.’
Jamie Lynn and Britney, 41, have had a turbulent relationship over recent years, with the Sweet Magnolias star recently saying: ‘Growing up, my sister became famous — worldwide famous — when I was very young.
‘It just feels like every time I work really hard to get something on my own, it’s not really worth it.’

Jamie then noted: ‘I’m so proud of her, love her to death, but I don’t know. Sometimes I feel like I don’t really have anything for myself.’
Not long later, after her divorce from Sam Asghari, Britney seemed to take aim at Jamie’s comments, writing: ‘In Mexico now! When your sister says “I love her to DEATH”… you learn to start living!’
Their strained relationship resurfaced in headlines after mum-of-two Britney was freed from a 13-year conservatorship in 2021, which she repeatedly lashed out at her family over for not protecting her.
Jamie Lynn also faced Britney’s wrath when promoting her book Things I Never Said last year, which spoke about her relationship with her elder sister at length.
She was sent a cease and desist letter by the popstar’s lawyer which accused her of talking about her sister ‘derogatorily’ as she was asked in an interview about a section of the book which described pre-conservatorship Britney as ‘erratic,’ ‘paranoid’ and ‘spiralling.’
In recent weeks, it was claimed Britney was unhappy with Jamie Lynn’s stint on Dancing With The Stars alongside the likes of Mauricio Umansky, which saw her become the second contestant eliminated.

Following her exit, she sent a loving message to her dance partner Alan, thanking him for his help during the competition, and adding: ‘I got to raise some money for my #SAGAFTRA community and meet some of the most amazing ppl, and That’s a win by all accounts in what I set out to do. Softball moms are hot.
‘Yalllllll, I promise I hear and see all the many wonderfully passionate ppl who are not happy with the way things fell tonight, and I appreciate the tremendous amount love and support, but this was an amazing experience, and I’m very happy to have been apart of it, and soooo excited to see all the fabulous contestants and their partners continue to KILL it each week!!!!! [sic].’
Jamie Lynn previously opened up about why she was taking part on DWTS, and confirmed that she would be donating her salary to Sag-Aftra and the WGA during the ongoing strikes.
‘I don’t know if one could ever be 100% ready to take on something this big,’ the mum-of-two said during an appearance on Good Morning America.
‘I didn’t realize what a commitment it is but it definitely is. I’m ready to challenge myself and also, being able to do it for a reason that means a lot to me.
‘While everybody in my community is on strike in Sag, I have this unique opportunity where I was offered a chance to work when my community cannot work.
‘So I figured I’ll do this and I will donate my weekly salary to Sag and WGA, to just give back to them at a time where they can’t give back to themselves.’
When approached for comment about the I’m A Celebrity claims, an ITV spokesperson told Metro.co.uk: ‘Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity are just speculation. We’ll announce our line up in due course.’
Metro.co.uk has also approached Jamie Lynn’s reps for comment.
I’m A Celebrity returns on Sunday, November 19 at 9pm on ITV1.
