Britney Spears has dropped the biggest hint so far that she will make a surprise appearance at Glastonbury this weekend.
The Toxic hitmaker has been heavily rumoured to be joining Sir Elton John as one of his four special guests during Sunday night’s highly anticipated headlining set, and now we may have a huge sign that it’s actually happening.
It seemed like all hope was lost for an epic Britney moment after she and husband Sam Asghari, 29, were soaking up the sun in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, but now it could be back on the cards.
On Thursday night, the pop megastar shared a cryptic post on Instagram, sharing three Union Jack flags along with a photo of a red apple that appears to be cut into the shape of England’s flag of St. George.
Maybe she’s swapping bikinis and the beach for wellies and mud after all!
The potential clue comes after fans went wild when Britney revealed in a since-deleted Instagram post that she was heading to London this week.

She claimed it was a for a shopping trip, but the timing seems very suspect – so maybe we will see the Womanizer singer joining Sir Elton on stage after all!
Last year, the music icons collaborated on Hold Me Closer, which marked Britney’s first single since her 13-year conservatorship ended.
Sir Elton and his husband David Furnish have teased four possible special guests for his set, and the rumour mill has been running rampant.

‘Four collaborators of his choosing,’ David told Sky News’ Beth Rigby. ‘People, he just thought, “I’d really like to do something with these artists at Glastonbury”. And that’s all I’m going to say.’
Asked who they might be, Furnish insisted: ‘Sorry. I am sworn to secrecy.’
But he did reveal Sir Elton’s well-paid headline slot will be ‘very special’, insisting it’s ‘not just another day in the office’ as he looks to shake things up from his ongoing Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour.
‘It’s a different set list – it’s a huge outdoor live festival. He’s got four different collaborators joining him on stage at different times, who I won’t name, sorry,’ he said.
‘So, he’s done a lot of changes. A lot on his plate, so I think he’s anxious. Yeah, but I think good, anxious, healthy anxious.’
