Britney Spears conservatorship: Celebs send star support
Celebrities have been sending their support to Britney Spears following her explosive court appearance about the “abusive” conservatorship that controls her life.
Britney said to the LA court that she is being forced to use birth control against her will, because her conservators don’t want her to have another baby and that her medication was switched without her knowledge.
Her father Jamie Spears is one of the conservators that has power, which has been in place since she had mental health issues in 2008.
Britney’s ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake said he and wife Jessica Biel were sending their “love, and our absolute support.”
After what we saw today, we should all be supporting Britney at this time.
Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was… what’s happening to her is just not right.
No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body.

“No woman should ever be restricted from making decisions about her own body.
“No one should EVER be held against their will… or ever have to ask permission to access everything they’ve worked so hard for.”

Actress and activist Rose McGowan said Britney had “every right to be angry”.
“How would you feel if your life was stolen, dissected, mocked? I pray she gets to live your life on her terms. STOP CONTROLLING WOMEN. #FreeBritney,” she posted.
Outside the court, Britney’s fans and the #FreeBRitney movement chanted and held up signs.
It was the first time in 13 years Britney has spoken openly about the conservatorship – revelling details and making claims that had been purposefully kept out of the public domain.
