Britney Spears conservatorship: #FreeBritney activists on what they’re hoping for as case returns to court
The i says Josh Helfgott has been intensely worried about Britney Spears since 2008 when the singer had a public breakdown and a Los Angeles court gave the pop star’s father Jamie control over his daughter’s financial assets.
Helfgott, a Tik Tok and Instagram influencer in New York, has for several years been loudly campaigning with the #FreeBritney movement, which is fighting for Spears’s release from the conservatorship which has long controlled her life.
