Britney Spears pleads for end to ‘abusive’ conservatorship, says she’s been forced onto birth control
The i says Britney Spears has urged a court to put an end to the controversial conservatorship arrangement that has given her father extensive control over nearly every aspect of her life, and alleged she has been forced onto birth control against her wishes.
The pop superstar made a virtual appearance in court in Los Angeles on Wednesday, asking judge Brenda Perry to put an end to the arrangement, put in place after she suffered a breakdown in 2008.
