A British man is fighting for his life in an Argentina hospital after a steam train he was on derailed.
The accident occurred in a rural mountain range on Saturday when 53 people were onboard the La Trochita steam engine – also known as the Old Patagonian Express.
Though the exact cause of derailment has not been confirmed, the steam train reportedly derailed after strong winds saw the train tracks give way.
The British man had initially been admitted to hospital with minor injuries, but was transferred for intensive care after his condition worsened overnight.
He has now been admitted into an intensive care unit with a cardiac arrhythmia, and four others were also rushed to hospitals near the Rio Negro province.
Last year, another train service provided by the same company derailed, resulting in the service being suspended for two weeks.

The group travelling on the steam train this weekend had hired a private service route to Ñorquinco, 100 miles from the departure station.
Guides onboard the locomotive tell the history of the train and a musician wanders between carriages while travelling to the destination.
Earlier this year, more than 30 people were killed and dozens injured after two trains collided head on in Greece.
Several carriages were ‘completely destroyed’, while others derailed and burst into flames after the collision just before midnight Tuesday near the town of Tempe.
Many of those on board were university students returning home from holiday.
Local resident Vassilis Polyzos was one of the first on the scene and described seeing ‘many big pieces of steel’ strewn across the field either side of the track.
