A British man has died after being pulled unconscious from the sea in Cyprus.
The unnamed man was swimming off the coast in Yeroskipou, a town in western Cyprus, when he suddenly became unwell, local media reports.
He and his partner were both in the sea together when he lost consciousness.
Emergency services dragged the man ashore and tried to resuscitate him with CPP, but they failed to revive him and he was later pronounced dead after being transferred to Pathos General Hospital.
