British family discover their collection of Chinese antiques is worth £8MILLION
The Daily Mirror says a British family has discovered their collection of old Chinese artefacts is worth a massive £8million.
The Parry Collection features rare Imperial enamel, lacquer, porcelain and jades, and was started in 1919 during World War One, by officer Edward Parry, and his wife Angela.
The collection of over 100 antiques sold for almost £8million, sparking an international bidding war with every lot selling.
It was passed down through three generations of their family, before being eventually sold through the London auctioneer, Bonhams.
