A man has been charged with the murder of a two-year-old boy in Blackpool.
The toddler was found with horrific injuries at home in the resort town on August 19.
Police and paramedics were scrambled to the address and the youngster was rushed to hospital but he died two days later.
Daniel Hardcastle, 30, appeared in court last week charged with GBH with intent. He has now been charged with murder and child cruelty.
He will appear again at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court on Friday, September 1.
