Boy, 14, fighting for life after being stabbed while answering knock at the door
Parents have have been left too terrified to let their kids go out after a 14-year-old boy was stabbed while answering the door in Manchester.
The teenager is currently fighting for life in hospital following the ‘sickening attack’ yards from two primary schools in the Levenshulme area at around 8pm on Monday.
A 15-year-old boy and 41-year-old woman have both been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. Both remain in police custody to be quizzed by detectives.
One woman, who did not want to be named, said: ‘I’m shocked. There’s two schools here, a church, a park. There’s so many kids ‘It’s frightening to think anyone would do that to anyone but particularly to a 14-year-old child. It’s absolutely disgusting.’
