Boris Johnson urges public to enjoy Covid freedoms ‘cautiously’ amid rise in infections

Boris Johnson urged the public to enjoy the freedoms “cautiously” amid growing concerns over the spiralling number of coronavirus cases in recent weeks.
The decision to lift the remaining rules, such as mask wearing, was criticised by Labour, who warned the Government was “putting their foot down on the accelerator and throwing off the seatbelts”.
