Jane Seymour has revealed that age has only improved her sex life as she spoke candidly about her new relationship with boyfriend John Zambetti.
The English actress, 72, best known for starring as Bond girl Solitaire in the 1973 movie Live and Let Die, has been married four times in her life but has recently decided to give casual relationships a proper go.
And Seymour, whose first marriage began in 1971 while her last marriage came to an end in 2015, has proudly stated that it might be one of the best decisions she’s ever made.
The Wedding Crashers star has admitted to spending the last few years ‘happily alone, not eagerly looking’ to enter into another serious commitment or make plans for a fifth marriage.

‘When [Zambetti] and I first met, he was encountering me as someone who was happily alone, not eagerly looking. I was at my happiest, surrounded by friends and family,’ she wrote in Cosmopolitan’s Sex After 60 column.
Speaking about musician Zambetti, 73, she continued: ‘[My sex life] right now is more wonderful and passionate than anything I ever remember because it is built on trust, love, and experience.
‘John was immediately exposed to who I really am. And so despite my active disinterest in romance at the time, he still appreciated me and the privilege it was to see my life.’

Seymour then went on to say that she feels both ’16 years old and experienced’ when she and her guitarist partner of five months are intimate together, adding that she ‘actually means’ the glowing reports she’s giving.
She continued: ‘When there is love and intimacy, as well as a desire to find pleasure for your partner and pleasure for yourself and you can make that all happen in unison, it’s magic. Absolute magic, no matter what form it takes.’
In October 2023, shortly after the two got together, Seymour beamed that she’d ‘never been happier’ than now, with Zambetti playing a huge role in her current happiness.

Taking to Instagram, the East of Eden actress shared a picture of herself with the Malibooz songwriter, adding in the caption that she really had ‘never been happier’ as her fans wished her well.
It continues a trend of the Somewhere In Time actress embracing her sexuality in her twilight years, after she became the oldest woman to ever be photographed by Playboy in February 2018 at the age of 67.
Seymour first married Michael Attenborough in 1971, followed by Attenborough’s friend Geoffrey Planer in 1977, David Flynn in 1981 and James Keach in 1993, with the pair eventually getting a divorce nine years ago.
From her four marriages, she has four children – daughter Katherine, who is now 41, as well as son Sean, 38, who she shares with Flynn, and twin sons with Keach, now 28.
