Spanish police have revealed that the autopsy on a body found in the search for Jay Slater will most likely be carried out on Tuesday.
On Monday, it was announced that a body was found in a ravine in the remote Masca region of Tenerife alongside Jay’s “possessions and clothes”.
Although formal identification has not taken place, the missing persons charity LBT Global said the “body found in Tenerife does look to be that of Jay Slater.”
It added: “It is understood the body was found close to the site of his mobile phone’s last location.”
Jay went missing on June 17 after a night out with his friends Lucy Law and Brad Hargreaves. Law paid tribute to the teen calling him “the happiest person in the room”.
