Billie Eilish has shown off an absolutely massive new tattoo, but unfortunately no one can figure out what it is.
The Bad Guy star, 21, teased last month that she had gone under the needle as she gave a glimpse of a large black tattoo on the back of her neck, disappearing under her collar.
Now Billie has shown it off in all its glory, but the intricate design has left fans more confused than ever.
In a photo, the I Love You singer – real name Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell – could be seen lying on her stomach while a freshly-done tattoo – so fresh that black ink was smeared across her skin – decorated her body.
The absolutely massive design stretches from the top of her neck to her lower back, and is inked directly on her spine – one of the most painful places you can get a tattoo.
Billie’s ink sees a series of thin black lines, mostly connected but some spreading out on their own, criss-crossing over each other with no immediately detectable pattern.

Fans went wild for the tattoo reveal, generally shouting the word ‘TATTOO’ in all-caps in the comment section of her Instagram post.
Plenty more however were left with one burning question – what exactly is it?
One Twitter user posted a photo of the new tattoo and asked simply: ‘What the hell is it?’, to the tune of a cool 32,000 likes.
Hundreds of other comments along the lines of ‘What is it?’, ‘what am I looking at?’, and ‘I’m going to need this explained to me.’

Billie regularly shares snaps to Instagram without captions or explanation, and just recently sparked concern among fans when she posted a photograph of herself appearing to have a black eye.
It’s unclear whether the bruised look was due to an injury or makeup but the star didn’t clear things up when fans questioned it in the comments section.
Billie’s bruise came alongside snaps of her adventures, from watching a lightning storm over a city to exploring an art gallery.
The What Am I Made For legend isn’t the only celebrity making headlines with their choice of ink recently, as newly-divorced Britney Spears got several new pieces done while on holiday in Mexico.

In September, Britney jetted off on holiday with friends after Sam Asghari filed for divorce 14 months into their marriage.
While there, she got multiple small tattoos, including a red star, dots on her fingers – and a snake, which fans rushed to decipher the meaning of.
She shared a video of herself getting the tattoo done in what appeared to be an apartment, sitting backwards on a chair to allow the tattoo artist to work on her back.
Fans have been fiercely debating the meaning behind the tattoo, with some suggesting it could represent betrayal and distrust – or as one put it, ‘she’s been carrying snakes on her back for her whole life.’
Others said it was a throwback to one of her ‘most legendary performances’ – who could forget when Britney took to the stage at the 2001 VMAs with a python around her shoulders?
