Beyoncé accused of stealing Usher’s thunder with Super Bowl announcement
Beyonce has been accused of taking some of the spotlight away from Usher’s half time performance by dropping new music during the Super Bowl.
Overnight the Kansas City Chiefs fought back to beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime and win their third Super Bowl in five years.
Although millions of eyes were on the game, just as much attention was placed on the celebrity attendees, the half time show, as well as the famous ads that air throughout the broadcast.
During an ad for communications company Verizon, Beyonce dropped the news that she had new music on the way by announcing the long-awaited Part II of her Renaissance album.
