Arsenal forward Beth Mead has stepped up her long-awaited return from a knee ligament injury by returning to full training.
The 28-year-old has been out since November 2022 when she ruptured her Anterior Cruciate Ligament in a 3-2 defeat against Manchester United.
The forward missed the World Cup as a result, which was a blow to England’s chances as the Lionesses finished as runners-up in Australia.
Mead has been in light training in recent weeks but she was able to participate in an in-house match with the Gunners’ youth team on Tuesday.

Since joining the Gunners in 2017, Mead’s netted 57 goals in 148 games.
The Gunners have made a disappointing start to the campaign, by exiting the Champions League and losing their WSL opener to Liverpool.
Mead’s return, though not imminent, will be a huge boost to the Gunners.
Arsenal face Aston Villa at the Emirates on Sunday.
