‘Best movie of 2024’ with near-perfect Rotten Tomatoes score lands on Netflix
A blockbuster sequel that was dubbed the ‘best movie of 2024’ has dropped on Netflix, leaving fans truly thrilled.
Bad Boys: Ride or Die – aka Bad Boys 4 – hit the big screen this summer, with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence reprising their roles as the iconic Miami Police Department detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett respectively.
They expertly led a star-studded cast alongside Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Tiffany Haddish and Ioan Gruffudd, while Adil & Bilall served as directors.
It was met with rave reviews from impressed fans and currently commands a huge 97% score on Rotten Tomatoes, with a 65% critics ranking.
Netflix US bosses confirmed that the flick has now been released on the platform, with the first three movies also available to watch.
Basically the dream movie marathon…
A tweet from the official account read: ‘Will Smith, Martin Lawrence, and directors Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah did not come to play. Bad Boys: Ride or Die is now on Netflix!’
However, Bad Boys: Ride or Die only appears to be on the US version, while the rest of the franchise can currently still be streamed in the UK.

The original Bad Boys came out in 1995 and the second flick followed in 2003, with the third outing – controversially titled Bad Boys For Life – dropping in 2020.
The fourth film premiered this summer and picked up directly where the last one left off, with Mike uncovering his secret son, while he and Marcus also getting to the bottom of a conspiracy surrounding Captain Howard’s death
The official synopsis reads: ‘This summer, the world’s favorite Bad Boys are back with their iconic mix of edge-of-your seat action and outrageous comedy but this time with a twist: Miami’s finest are now on the run.’
