Ben Affleck has hilariously recreated a moment where his penchant for Dunkin’ Donuts almost saw him lose it all after ordering too much.

Back in 2020 the Hollywood star was snapped by paparazzi outside his Los Angeles home attempting to balance a tray of Dunkin’ iced coffees and a box of munchkins while grabbing a package.

The actor, 51, appeared to be struggling in the moment, but people couldn’t get enough of the photos, poking fun at his desperate attempts not to lose any of his treats.

In the years since he’s become a brand ambassador for the chain, appearing in a Super Bowl commercial for Dunkin’ last year.

Now he’s been spotted recreating his viral moment from three years ago, leading many to believe he’s now set to poke fun at himself in another ad.

This week in LA he was filmed while holding stacks of boxes of Dunkin Donuts which at one point toppled out of his hands to the ground.

However it was all for a commercial in which he’s recreating a viral 2020 moment (Picture: Backgrid)

Charli D’Amelio was also spotted on set (Picture: Backgrid)

During filming, he was seen coming through a door while wearing a t-shirt that say Day Ones and a childhood photo of him and best friend Matt Damon on it.

Later in the day, Charli D’Amelio arrived on set and was then filmed greeting Ben at the door.

It’s not clear when the ad will run, but with just over a month until this year’s Super Bowl, there’s a chance it could debut then.

For last year’s commercial, Ben teamed up with wife Jennifer Lopez to surprise customers as he worked a drive-thru.

The hidden-camera style video showed him thriving in his new job and serving unsuspecting customers their coffee and sweet treats before J-Lo turned up.

While she jokingly questioned him: ‘What are you doing? Is that what you do when you say you’re going to work all day?’, he later took her order for a glazed donut.

Reflecting on the commercial, which was developed by his and Matt’s production company Artists Equity, he told People: ‘I think people already sort of think that I work for Dunkin’.

He went on to reveal his current go-to order was ‘iced coffee, milk and two sugars and sometimes Splenda.’
