Sunday Mirror – Bebe’s sister saw her being killed
The sister of Southport knife attack victim Bebe King saw her being killed, the Sunday Mirror says on its front page. Bebe King’s parents – Lauren and Ben King – released a statement revealing that Bebe’s elder sister Genie witnessed the stabbings before escaping, and praised her incredible strength and courage.
Elsewhere the front page reports on Jay Slater’s funeral in Lancashire yesterday. It says loved ones paid tribute to the teen during a “celebration of life” nearly two months after he was reported missing.
Ongoing coverage of Team GB’s Olympic efforts also makes the front pages.
