Financial Times – Barratt agrees £2.5bn swoop for rival Redrow in bid to weather turndown
The Financial Times reports on a £2.5bn deal by Barratt to purchase Redrow – a deal the paper says cements the company’s place as the UK’s largest house-building firm.
Elsewhere, the paper reports that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has rejected Hamas’s conditions for a hostage deal. Netanyahu warned accepting the terms would lead to “another massacre”, it adds.
