    The government is reportedly set to demand that pupils must be kept at school for another two and a half hours each week.

    The Mirror says the Bafta TV Awards will not honour any stars with a Fellowship or Special Award for the first time in its 50-year history, in the wake of the Noel Clarke scandal.

    Bosses have suspended all the individual honours which are “in the gift of the Academy” – rather than voted for by an industry panel – for Sunday’s ceremony.

    Billionaire Tory donor’s daughter-in-law charged after police chief shot dead

    The Mirror says a British billionaire’s daughter-in-law has been charged with manslaughter after a cop was shot dead, it has been reported.

    The body of superintendent Henry Jemmott, 42, was found floating in the sea near a pier in San Pedro, Belize on Friday.
