Boos for Alexander-Arnold … but Slot will still pick him The Guardian says Arne Slot insisted he would not take Trent Alexander-Arnold out of the “firing line in Liverpool’s final two games of the season despite the defender’s brutal reception at Anfield.” Alexander-Arnold was booed before, during and after his substitute appearance against Arsenal hay having announced he will leave Liverpool on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the season.

Many of the UK newspapers lead with today’s announcement of new changes to Britain’s immigration system – in what most papers agree is an attempt to stump the rise of Reform UK. It comes after Labour lost hugely to Reform in England’s local elections.
