Members of the public who intervened to help were branded ‘heroes’ (Picture: REX) A man has been arrested following a triple stabbing in central London which saw members of the public try to foil a phone robbery. The 25-year-old was detained in Islington, north London this morning, following the incident in Bishopsgate last Thursday. Witnesses said they watched a group of two or three masked knifemen attacking a pedestrian just before 10am.
