UK help for Britons stuck in Sudan ‘severely limited’ Foreign Secretary James Cleverly has warned that UK aid for Britons stranded in Sudan will remain “severely limited” until a ceasefire is reached. Millions of Britons miss out on cheap broadband, due to lack of awareness on offers Over half of low-income households in the UK are unaware of low-cost broadband deals available to them, according to a report by communications regulator Ofcom. The watchdog expressed concern that households are not receiving sufficient advice about the possibility of switching to social tariffs, which cost between £10 and £20 per month and are offered to customers on benefits. M1 and A14 closures after crash that left lorry hanging off bridge A lorry driver had a lucky escape after their vehicle crashed into a barrier on the M1 in Leicestershire, leaving it hanging off a bridge. Emergency services were called to the southbound carriageway of the motorway at junction 19 Catthorpe Interchange shortly after 04:30 BST. Fortunately, the driver was unharmed and able to exit the vehicle safely. Australia buying more missiles to counter China, according to the country’s major defence review Australia is accelerating its efforts to purchase longer-range missiles to counter China’s growing threat, according to the country’s major defence review.
