Nadine Dorries delays resignation until peerage information is released Nadine Dorries has said her resignation as MP is postponed until she acquires more information regarding the reasons behind her denial of a peerage.  Last Friday, Dorries – an ally of Boris Johnson who served in his cabinet, announced her immediate resignation as the MP for Mid Bedfordshire.  Dorries accused PM Rishi Sunak’s team of removing her name from Johnson’s honours list.
