UK wages grow at record rate Regular pay grew by 7.8% – a record annual pace – between April and June, according to new ONS data. It marks the highest annual growth rate since comparable records began in 2001. Inflation has eased but still remains relatively high at 7.9%. Price of milk and sunflower oil starting to fall Food prices are finally “edging down” even though shopping bills remain high, new data suggests. Sharif, 10, was found alone in the house at about 02:50 BST on 10 August and police are looking for three people known to the girl who have left the country. No arrests have been made yet.
