Actress Doreen Mantle has died ‘peacefully at home’ aged 97, her agent has said.
She was known for her performance as Jean Warboys in the BBC comedy series One Foot In The Grave and had appearances in Doctors and Coronation Street.
Mantle also took to the stage in Death Of A Salesman for the National Theatre for which she took home an Olivier Award in 1979 for actress of the year in a supporting role.
