Friends actor Matthew Perry dies at 54 US actor Matthew Perry, best known for playing Chandler Bing in the hit TV show Friends, has died at the age of 54. He was found dead in his Los Angeles home, according to law enforcement sources. Friends was one of the biggest TV shows in history, its original run was from 1994 until 2004. US media reports that Perry had been found unresponsive in a hot tub at his home. Warner Bros, which produced Friends, described Perry as a “true gift to us all.”
