Hamas releases Thai hostages as Israel waits for 13 to be freed 13 women and children, who were kidnapped by Hamas during the attacks of 7 October, have been handed to the Red Cross, according to the Israeli military. Their release comes after 12 Thai hostages who were taken from Israel were also freed by the militants. The release is part of a temporary ceasefire deal. In exchange for hostages released, Israel will free 39 Palestinian detainees held in Israeli jails, to the West Bank.
