Fifpro: Top female players at higher risk of ACL and other major injuries, research finds Top female footballers are more vulnerable to issues like anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries, research from the world players’ union has found.  Factors including increased workloads, travel and lack of rest were shown to be factors in the serious injuries sustained. Data was collected by the top leagues in England, France, Germany and Spain. The data showed that of the 139 elite players they analysed, 58 were injured over the 2021-22 and 2022-23 seasons. Molineux stadium to host 2024 Women’s League Cup final Molineux stadium – the home of Wolves FC, has been chosen as the venue for the Women’s League Cup final on 31 March. The final will kick off at 15:00 BST and will be broadcast on the BBC. British teen Alex Batty expected back in UK in next few days Alex Batty is due back in the UK in the next few days after being found in France, six years after going missing, police have said.  Alex, 17, went missing in 2017 whilst on holiday in Spain with his mother and grandfather. It’s believed Alex’s mother and grandfather, neither who had guardianship of him, had kidnapped him and taken him to live in a ‘spiritual community’ in Spain. Harry was victim of hacking by Mirror Group papers, judge rules In a landmark decision, the High Court ruled that Prince Harry was a victim of phone hacking by Mirror Group Newspapers (MGN) and awarded him £140,600 in damages.
