Wolves issue statement after two Premier League players are arrested over rape allegation Wolves have denied that two members of their squad are the Premier League footballers who were arrested on suspicion of rape and assault over the weekend. The two players, both aged 19 and play for the same Premier League team, have been released on bail after being interviewed by police. It’s understood that the Premier League club have suspended both players, pending the outcome of a police investigation. ‘Officers have arrested two men following a report of a rape,’ a police spokesperson said.

Two teachers stabbed in playground attack before colleague intervened Two teachers who were stabbed in a school playground in South Wales have been named and pictured for the first time today. Fiona Elias and Liz Hopkin were identified as the two victims of the knife attack at Ysgol Dyffryn Aman in Ammanford at the end of morning break on Wednesday. A major incident was declared at the school – also known locally as Amman Valley School. Classrooms were put under lockdown, with pupils only leaving around four hours later.

Major update on condition of two horses that rampaged through London Two of the military horses who caused ‘total mayhem’ when they bolted after being spooked by noisy construction work are in a serious condition, a minister has said.
