Sir Keir Starmer is facing new calls to end the two-child benefits limit as new research shows 250,000 children will be affected by the policy over the next year. Jude Bellingham is pictured after his 13th minute goal sealed a 1-0 victory for England over Serbia on Sunday in their opening game of the Euro 2024 championships in Germany. ‘Bellingham gets England off to a winning start’ – is another headline on the front page.

Daily Star – The Hangover The Daily Star reports one million Britons are due to “pull a sickie” and miss work after watching England beat Serbia 1-0 on Sunday. The paper estimates more than 30 million pints were downed. The paper carries a warning about the aftermath of England’s opening Euros game against Serbia – ‘The Hangover” is the headline alongside an image of jubilant fans celebrating Jude Bellingham’s goal that secured England all three points. Daily Mirror – Pledge to Forgotten Britain: Just the job The Daily Mirror says Labour’s Rachel Reeves will set out plans to create 650,000 new jobs for skilled workers over five years.
