Trains will again grind to a halt this weekend, as both the RMT and ASLEF unions carry out industrial action.
ASLEF members will strike on Friday, September 1, with an overtime ban in place on Saturday, September 2.
Meanwhile, 20,000 RMT members will walkout on Friday, September 2, as a dispute over pay and working conditions continues.
RMT boss Mick Lynch said the union had to call the strike as no revised pay offer has been proposed by the government.

Avanti West Coast
Avanti West Coast has warned that there will be no services at all running on Friday, September 1.
It has warned customers not to attempt to travel on this day.
On Saturday, September 2, Avanti West Coast plans to run four trains an hour from London Euston – one to Manchestter, one to Liverpool, one to Birmingham and one to Preston.
All other services will be cancelled.

C2C
On September 1, C2C will not be running any services at all.
On September 2, C2C will run a reduced service:
2 trains per hour between London Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness via Laindon calling at all stations
2 trains per hour between London Fenchurch Street and Shoeburyness via Ockendon calling at all stations
1 train per hour between London Fenchurch Street and Grays via Rainham calling at all stations

Chiltern railways
Chiltern railways will be running no services on September 1.
On September 2, a very reduced service will run:
1 train per hour between London Marylebone and Banbury
1 train per hour between London Marylebone and Oxford
1 train per hour between London Marylebone and Aylesbury (via Amersham)

CrossCountry
No services will run on September 1.
A reduced service will run on September 2, with trains starting later and finishing earlier than usual.
There will be no service between Nottingham and Cardiff Central via Birmingham New Street.

East Midlands railway
No services will run on September 1.
A reduced service will run on September 2, with trains only running between 6:30 am and 6:30pm.

Gatwick Express, Thameslink, Southern and Great Northern
There will be no Gatwick Express, Thameslink or Great Northern services running on September 1.
However, avery limited Southern shuttle service will run, calling at Gatwick Airport and London Victoria only between 5am and 11:45pm.
On September 2, a very limited service will run across the network, with services starting and ending earlier than usual.

Great Western Railway
On both September 1 and September 2 there will be a very limited service with trains running from 7am to 6:30pm.

Greater Anglia
On September 1 a limited service will operate between Cambridge, Norwich, Colchester, Southend Victoria, Stansted Airport and London Liverpool Street.
All other routes will have no service at all.
On September 2 services will only run between 7am and 7pm, but should run with a normal service between those hours.

Heathrow Express
On September 1, the Heathrow Express will run a reduced service, with the first and last trains as follows:
First train departs London Paddington at 07:25, then every 30 minutes until the last train at 18:25
First train departs Heathrow Terminal 5 at 07:57, then every 30 minutes until the last train at 18:57
First train departs Heathrow Central at 08:02, then every 30 minutes until the last train at 19:02
On September 2, services will run normally until 8:40pm, with the last trains at the following times:
Last train from London Paddington: 20:40
Last train from Heathrow Terminal 5: 20:42
Last train from Heathrow Central: 20:47
Island line
No service will operate on September 1, but the service will operate as normal on September 2.

London Northwestern Railway
On September 1, no service will run on London Northwestern Railway.
On September 2, a reduced service will run between 7am and 7pm.

On both September 1 and 2 a reduced LNER service will run, with trains starting ealier and finishing earlier than usual.

No service will run on September 1.
A limited service will run on between 8am and 5pm on September 2 on the following routes:
Liverpool – Manchester Airport
Leeds – York via Micklefield
Leeds – Ilkley
Leeds – Skipton
Leeds – Bradford Forster Square
Leeds – Moorthorpe – Sheffield
Leeds – Hebden Bridge via Bradford
Darlington – Saltburn

On both Septemeber 1 and September 2 an extremely reduced service will run on South Western, with services only running from 7am to 7pm.

Southeastern
On September 1, no southeastern trains will run and there will be no replacement buses.
On September 2, a limited service will run, with no replacement buses.

Stanstead Express
On September 1, a reduced service will run between Liverpool Street and Stanstead airport.
On September 2, trains will run a reduced service between 7am and 11pm.
TransPennine Express
On Friday September 1 there will be no TransPennine Express trains running.
On September 2 a heavily reduced service will run only on the routes below:
Manchester Piccadilly to Scarborough
– Between Manchester Piccadilly and York: 6 local services, 3 semi-fast services (towards Manchester Piccadilly), 4 semi-fast services (towards York)
– Between York and Scarborough: 6 services
Preston to Manchester Airport
– In both directions: 5 services
Sheffield to Cleethorpes
– In both directions: 5 services

West Midlands Railway
No services will run on September 1.
On September 2 a reduced service will run on the following routes:
Birmingham New Street – Wolverhampton via local stations: 1 train per hour.
Birmingham New Street – Lichfield City / Redditch / Bromsgrove: 2 trains per hour between Lichfield City – Birmingham New Street (buses will run between Birmingham New Street and Redditch / Bromsgrove and between Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley due to engineering works).
Kidderminster – Whitlocks End / Dorridge via Birmingham Snow Hill: 1 train per hour between Kidderminster – Whitlocks End and 1 train per hour between Kidderminster – Dorridge.
Stourbridge Town – Stourbridge Junction: up to 6 trains per hour.
Birmingham New Street – Rugeley Trent Valley: 1 train per hour.
Birmingham New Street – Birmingham International via local stations: 1 train per hour.
