Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes hit out on social media after his latest omission from Brazil’s squad.
Ramon Menezes, the Under-20 manager for the Selecao, has stepped in for the senior side on an interim basis after Tite’s resignation following their quarter-final exit at the 2022 World Cup.
Gabriel was disappointed not to feature in Qatar but would have been hoping to return to the fold on the back of his outstanding recent form for the Gunners.
Instead, Menezes has included a number of youngsters ahead of the upcoming friendly against Morocco including the likes of teenage defenders Arthur and Robert Renan.
The former Lille centre-half took to social media to air his frustrations by suggesting he would have to take up a new sport to gain international recognition before later deleting the Tweet.

Gabriel has formed half of the central defensive partnership that has underpinned Arsenal’s Premier League title bid alongside the increasingly impressive William Saliba.
The pair were involved in what appeared to be a slight altercation at the final whistle against Leicester last week, but Mikel Arteta downplayed that incident and insisted the pair were like a married couple.
He said: ‘They are a happy marriage – they love playing with each other! But they are really demanding of each other, which is good. Everything is fine.’

Speaking ahead of this afternoon’s game against Bournemouth, meanwhile, Arteta insisted he always knew Saliba was capable of making an impact despite sending him out on loan twice during the formative stage of his Arsenal career.
‘The first question was how the player is going to reintegrate into our dynamic after being out for so long,’ Arteta said when asked about Saliba’s integration last summer.
‘Is there some frustration there, something personal between, for example, between me and the player because he could not understand that?
‘Or his environment, his expectations coming back or the amount that we paid for him, his age?
‘Is it the same to do it in France as it is to do it in this league for Arsenal because you don’t have 21-year-old defenders at the top level in England?’
‘For the first week I didn’t speak to him. I just wanted to see – naturally, without me really interfering in his thoughts – how he was.
‘Because then you can understand the real him and after that I spoke to him.’
