Tickets for Arsenal’s Premier League match against Wolves on May 28 are selling for as high as £53,000 with fans desperate to see them win the title.
The Gunners have not finished in the top four in seven years but have enjoyed a fantastic 2022-23 campaign and are eight points clear at the top of the table.
Arsenal have not lifted the Premier League trophy since 2004 and have just 10 fixtures left, although second-placed Manchester City have a game in hand.
Pep Guardiola’s side have won four of the last five titles and if they win their extra match – and beat the Gunners at the Etihad on April 26 – the gap could be reduced to just two points.
But Arsenal fans are dreaming of their team lifting the trophy which has seen ticket prices shoot up on resale websites for their final game of the season at the Emirates.
Mikel Arteta’s team take on Wolves and should they come out on top in this year’s title race, there will be a trophy presentation after full-time.
Arsenal beat Wolves 2-0 at Molineux earlier this season in the reverse fixture with two goals from Martin Odegaard.
Robbie Keane has backed City to overcome their eight-point deficit to Arsenal and pip the Gunners to the Premier League title.
‘Looking ahead to the return of the Premier League, I think Arsenal have done so well this year,’ the former Tottenham striker told Betway.
‘That’s not just in terms of where they are in the league but how they are playing their football.
