Anna Wintour and Bill Nighy have seemingly confirmed their rumoured romance as they cosied up together at the 2023 Met Gala.
Movie star Bill, 73, and Vogue editor Anna, 72, have in recent months been rumoured to be in a relationship, after being seen on what appeared to be dates several times in the past.
Now it appears there was indeed something to the rumours, as Bill and Anna looked very close on Monday night’s Met Gala.
The exclusive bash was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and organised by Anna herself, as it has been since 1995.
And among the major stars arriving on the glamorous red carpet – some with absolutely nuts outfits – was Anna and her date, walking arm in arm on the carpet.
Anna looked the picture of a fashion icon, in a thick kaleidoscope-like jacket featuring diamond-studded cats. The dress reached to her knees, where it was replaced by a simple white floor-length slip.

The Vogue editor completed the look with a sleek bob haircut, dark but understated eye makeup and a splash of colour across her lips.
Bill, meanwhile, looked the perfect gentleman in a sharp and perfectly-tailored navy suit, turned up at the cuffs, and shining black shoes, along with a deep blue tie and crisp white shirt.
In December last year, the pair descended on the Big Apple together for the premiere of Bill’s latest film, Living, with a source claiming to The Telegraph at the time that they were in a relationship and keeping it private.

And in August 2021 Bill gifted Anna with a red rose as they headed out for an al fresco dinner in the romantic city of Rome, having also been spotted together at theatres and restaurants in London in the past.
Speculation on the pair’s relationship goes way back, with rumours swirling since 2010.
Bill, however, has declined to comment on their friendship in the past.

He told the MailOnline in 2015: ‘Obviously I have nothing to say about that.
‘There are a lot of rumours about me and probably about Anna Wintour.’
Anna has two grown-up children, Charles, 37, and Bee, 34, from her first marriage to David Shaffer.
