The report says Israel has “unleashed hell and destruction on Palestinians in Gaza brazenly, continuously and with total impunity”. Amnesty’s report is the first such determination by a prominent human rights organisation in the 14-month-old conflict. Israel denies allegations of genocide, accusing Hamas of using civilians as human shields.
