America’s Got Talent viewers have been left horrified over a ‘dangerous’ act, which saw one performer literally set themselves alight.
Contestant Ray Wold and his mother performed their fire-based act for the first of the live shows, but viewers could barely watch.
He first ran onto stage with his shoes and hat on fire, adding more and more flames into the show.
At one point, his mother used a flame blower across the stage, much to the horror of judges Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel.
Meanwhile, Heidi Klum appeared to be laughing at the start, clearly not concerned about the danger.
The stakes were raised even higher when Ray held an alight umbrella by his mouth, before it dropped onto his back, causing him to go up in flames.

His partner had everyone in hysterics though when she appeared to have flames flying up out of her backside, before Ray chained himself up and was doused in flammable liquid.
The music turned far more sinister for the most dangerous part of the act, with Ray submerged in flames at one point.
It clearly became too much for Howie, who buzzed his X despite the roars of applause from the crowd.
Thankfully, it all turned out okay, as he clambered out completely safe, despite being on fire.
The flames were eventually put out by an extinguisher, but not before fans were left more than concerned about the safety of the performance.

Some viewers praised the talent (Picture: YouTube)
‘Pure stupidity. Spend 10 minutes in a burn unit. This is dumb,’ one seethed.
Another penned: ‘NOT FUNNY.’
Someone else said: ‘the height of madness.’
Others were far more impressed, with one writing: ‘This is great.’
‘This act is on fire,’ another joked.
‘Yay Ray!! You guys NAILED IT,’ someone else said.
Unclear whether praising the talent or concerned for their safety, someone else said: ‘That is very dangerous!’
America’s Got Talent airs on Peacock.
