Amanda Holden was absolutely thriving at her daughter Lexi Hughes’ 18th birthday party.
The 52-year-old really is the most glamorous mum around, as she shimmied around the dancing youths wearing a fabulous silver, sparkling two piece top and trouser combination.
Jumping onto the current hype surrounding Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s 2001 tune Murder On The Dancefloor, Amanda looked to be in her element.
The track recently hit the US charts for the first time in 22 years after it appeared on the film Saltburn, starring Barry Keoghan and Rosamund Pike.
The HeartRadio presenter took to social media with footage from her daughter Lexi’s big birthday bash, in which she took to the decks and played the catchy pop song.
The young crowd seemed to love the song choice, as they put their hands in the air and sang along to the words, while Amanda clutched a microphone, dancing dramatically on the wall to the song.

Descending from the DJ booth, the Britain’s Got Talent judge made her way through the crowd, still with the microphone, as the camera followed.
She is seen maneuvering the excitable youngsters out of her way, as she tries to get close to her daughter.
Amusement spread across Lexi’s face as she grabbed the microphone from her mother, and a friend proceeded to take it off her too.
Amanda, who is also mother to 12-year-old Hollie, then beckoned the camera operator to follow her, as she took Lexi out of the crowded chaos and grabbed an older party-goer to get them up and dancing.
Alongside the footage, the Wild At Heart actor wrote: ‘The latest trend. #murderonthedancefloor @lexi.hughes_official 18th … enjoy 😂,’ before joking: ‘The entire long version with all guests is on my TikTok account….’

Lexi, short for Alexa, is the eldest child of the star and her music producer husband Chris Hughes.
The 18 year old seems to be pursuing a career in modelling, with the TV personality telling The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine a few years ago: ‘At the moment, Lexi’s learning her craft – how to pose, how to walk. And then we will release her into the modelling world.’
Although caveating the excitement by saying Lexi will still be putting her education first – ‘because she is clever as well’ – the mum-of-two continued: ‘She’s super-excited and has the right mentality – she’s very unfazed by things, is not easily impressed, and doesn’t suffer fools.
‘All of those qualities Chris and I have, so she’s been brought up like that. She’ll be looked after because she can look after herself pretty well. And she’s got a tiger mummy and a daddy as well.’
Last year when Lexi was 17, Amanda said that although the teen had signed with Storm modelling agency, she would be finishing her education before pursuing the career seriously.
