Actor Kevin Spacey denies sex abuse claim
“They are not true” – that was actor Kevin Spacey after he took to the stand at his civil trial in New York to deny the claim that he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old boy at a house party in 1986.
Anthony Rapp, now 50 and also an actor, is seeking $40m in damages.
He claims that Mr Spacey inappropriately touched him and made sexual advances towards him when he was 14.
A judge had dropped one of the claims bought by Mr Rapp earlier in the day.
The American actor is separately facing five charges in the UK of sexual assault.
