Daily Mirror – A monument for Queen Elizabeth
The Daily Mirror says that a monument honouring Queen Elizabeth II is to be announced this weekend to coincide with the second anniversary of her death. The paper says the sculpture will be in St James’s Park, which is overlooked by Buckingham Palace, and will be unveiled in 2026.
Elsewhere, Jeremy Kyle has appeared at an inquest into the death of a former guest of his day time tabloid talk show.

Queen Elizabeth II to be honoured with new monument in iconic location
A monument to honour the life and legacy of the late Queen will be finally unveiled in St James’s Park in London, it can be revealed.
The sculpture of Elizabeth II will be open to the public in 2026 to mark what would have been her centenary year. Plans for a permanent memorial as well as a national legacy programme in her honour were created in the wake of her passing on September 8, 2022.
A special committee headed up by Lord Robin Janvrin, the late Queen’s former private secretary appointed as chairman, has worked with the UK Government and the Royal Household to create the historic monument.
An announcement of the sculpture and nature of the historic piece will be announced this weekend to coincide with the second anniversary of the Queen’s death, it is understood.
Private WhatsApps from disgraced Jeremy Kyle Show revealed – ‘tears in his eyes – lol’
ITV producers joked about tragic Jeremy Kyle Show guest Steve Dymond crying, his inquest heard today.
One member of the programme’s team said in a private WhatsApp group that Mr Dymond “had tears in his eyes twice lol x”, it was heard. It was also heard Mr Dymond, 63, sobbed continuously when filming finished and was allowed to leave the studio after telling a producer ‘I wish I was dead’.
TV presenter Kyle, 59, today arrived at Winchester Coroner’s Court, Hants, to give evidence at the inquest into the death of construction worker Mr Dymond. Mr Dymond, an ex-RNLI volunteer, appeared on his show on May 2, 2019, to try to prove to his on-off partner Jane Callaghan, then 48, that he did not cheat on her. He failed a lie detector test despite protesting he was faithful and ‘rude’ Kyle ‘egged on’ his crowd to boo at him, it has been heard.
