Body of missing 18-year-old found in Ashby as police investigate death
The body of an 18-year-old has been found following a desperate search after he failed to return home from a night out.
James Corlett, from Swadlincote, Derbyshire, went out in nearby Ashby-de-la-Zouch on October 29.
Since leaving the house on Thursday evening, he had not been in touch with his family, leading to him being reported missing.
Authorities had been ‘extremely concerned’ for the teen’s welfare, as it was ‘completely out of character’ for him to disappear without telling anyone.
Described as white, around 6ft 4in and with brown hair, he had last been seen in jeans, a brown jumper, and black trainers, with a Derbyshire Police spokesperson appealing for ‘urgent help’ in locating him.
