Quentin Griffith was a key player in the success of ASOS
The millionaire co-founder of the fast-fashion website ASOS has died after falling from his 17th-floor condo in Thailand.
Quentin Griffiths was found dead on the ground outside the 18-floor The Elysium complex in the eastern city of Pattaya on Monday evening.
He was by himself – his room locked from the inside – and there was no trace of break-ins, a police investigator told the BBC.
Griffiths’ exact cause of death is unknown but no evidence of foul play was found during an autopsy.
A source close to his family told The Sun: ‘It’s a real mystery. The phrase “suspicious circumstances” has been used but we just don’t know yet.’
The investigator added that Griffiths was involved in two ongoing court cases that ‘might have caused him stress’.

The father of three was involved in a dispute with his Thai ex-wife, who has been accused of stealing £500,000 from a company they operated.
She accused Griffiths of forging documents to sell land and shares in the firm without her consent.
Griffiths was reportedly arrested and questioned by detectives and later released – he denied any wrongdoing.
He moved to Thailand in 2007 to be with his former wife, who had a son and a daughter with him before they split several years ago.
Griffiths co-founded ASOS in 2000 along with Nick Robertson and Andrew Regan.
He called it quits with the fashion giant four years later, before making £15 million from share sales in 2010.
In a statement this afternoon, ASOS said: ‘We’re saddened to hear about the passing of Quentin, one of our original co-founders.
‘He played an important role in ASOS’s earliest days and we’re forever grateful for his contribution.
‘Our thoughts are with his family and friends.’
The Foreign Office said: ‘We are supporting the family of a British national who has died in Thailand and are in contact with the local authorities.’
