This is the moment a Brit goes full Hong Kong Phooey through an, smashing up self-service ticket machines before being arrested for allegedly having viagra on him.

Passengers cower in fear in footage showing a 35-year-old bald-headed man kicking and lashing out at 10 check-in machines in the departure area of Hong Kong Airport.

Police later arrived and restrained the man at the airport bus stop, where he was allegedly found carrying four Viagra pills, according to the Hong Kong Free Press.

He was detained on suspicion of ‘criminal damage and possession of a Part 1 Poison’.

In Hong Kong, it is illegal to possess Viagra without a doctor’s prescription. Offenders face a maximum penalty of two years in jail and a HK$100,000 (£10,000) fine.

He was said to have arrived at the airport emotionally unstable before trying to buy a plane ticket on Monday.

Officials have declined to disclose his identity as his motive remains under investigation.

An Airport Authority spokesman said: ‘Airport Authority personnel and airport security immediately arrived at the scene, warned the man to stop further vandalism, and called the police. Officers then arrested him and are continuing their investigation.

‘The Airport Authority has dispatched staff to handle the situation and arranged backup smart check-in kiosks.

‘Passengers may also use other kiosks or check in manually at airline counters, and airport operations remain unaffected.’

Local media reported that the Brit arrived in Hong Kong in November, on a visa valid for six months.
