Arsenal vs Man Utd LIVE: Premier League latest score and goal updates | Football
Arsenal welcome Manchester United to the Emirates this afternoon looking to restore their seven-point lead at the top of the Premier League.
Michael Carrick got off to the perfect start as interim boss as United blew away Manchester City in the derby last weekend.
The Gunners are a very different proposition today, fresh from another dominant win in Europe over Inter and still undefeated at home this season.
While Manchester City reduced the gap to four points on Saturday after taking care of business against Wolves, there is a growing feeling the only team that can stop Arsenal winning the Premier League this season is Arsenal.
For United, today might demonstrate whether their thrilling derby win was merely the byproduct of a new manager bounce… or maybe even the start of special.

Match Highlights
Vieira bursts Man Utd’s bubble
Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira tells Sky Sports that Manchester United shouldn’t be getting too excited.
‘I wasn’t convinced since the start of the season, they’ve never been really consistent in their performance,’ said the former Arsenal captain.
‘Obviously they had a really good game against City but today will be a different game.
‘I’ve been really disappointed with the way United play. We’re used to United challenging to win the title and today we’re talking about United trying to finish in the top five or top six. I’m afraid it will maybe be too much for them today.’
Manchester United confident under Carrick
Asked if it’s going to be the same again after a 2-0 win over Manchester City last time out, Michael Carrick told Sky Sports: ‘It’s never the same again. Every game is different, even one half and the next half is different. You’ve got a whole new challenge to overcome. We’re in good shape and we’ve had a good week on the training ground.’
Why no Havertz?
Mikel Arteta tells Sky Sports of the absence from the Arsenal squad of Kai Havertz: ‘Especially the minutes that he’s played so far that are very little and he’s going to have more exposure in the next few weeks, and we have to build that.’

Arteta explains picking Jesus over Gyokeres
Speaking to Sky Sports at the Emirates, Mikel Arteta said of his choice up top: ‘We have to go game-by-game and we have to understand where each individual is, the opponent that we play, and after that make the decision to start and finish the game and think what is the best scenario for us.’
