Ant Middleton is apparently in hot water, according to new reports.
SAS Who Dares Wins star and Mayor of London hopeful Ant Middleton is set to be sued by the Ministry of Defence, according to reports.
The Portsmouth-born TV personality and former UK Special Forces officer, 45, hosted the gruelling reality tv show for six years between 2015 and 2021.
Middleton is also known for having climbed both Mount Everest and K2, the former of which was covered in his documentary series Extreme Everest.
But it appears the Ministry of Defence is preparing to take legal action against Middleton for what reports refer to as ‘a breach of contract’.
Middleton is apparently in hot water, not because of any TV content he has been part of, but because of tweets he made about his time in the Special Forces.
The Sun reports: ‘Military chiefs have lodged legal papers at the High Court ahead of a blockbuster battle with the TV hardman. The case is listed as Ministry of Defence vs Middleton.’

A source has told the publication that contracts apparently contained non-disclosure causes, and that this decision by the MoD is a ‘rare’ one.
They said: ‘Special Forces contracts were changed some years ago to include a non-disclosure clause. This is an extremely rare move for the MoD to take.
‘The action doesn’t relate to his TV appearances or books or work as an honorary cadet Captain. It is focused on a series of social media posts about the Special Forces.’
A MoD spokesperson said: ‘We can confirm ongoing proceedings around contractual procedures.
‘We will not comment further while legal proceedings are ongoing,’ per LBC.

Middleton joined the army in 1998 at the age of 17, and served tours in Northern Ireland and North Macedonia between 1999 and 2001.
He left the army in 2002 before joining the Royal Marines in 2005, eventually touring Afghanistan in 2007 and joining the Special Boat Service in 2008.
This latest story comes just a few weeks after Middleton’s brother Daniel was accused of homophobic abuse by TikTok stars Luke and Scott O’Halloran.
Both Middletons were booted off Australian reality series The Amazing Race and sent home as a result after allegedly breaching conduct rules.

An insider told the Daily Mail: ‘This was supposed to be a fresh start. But the same problems followed him here. The aura around Ant as a no-nonsense tough guy has worn thin.’
These two separate incidents have occurred in the middle of Middleton’s attempt to move into politics, first by declaring his intentions to challenge for the position of London Mayor.
He tweeted earlier this month: ‘I will not rest until I am in a position of power/influence to implement drastic safety and security measures.
‘[I want to] ensure that our children can thrive free from dangerous groups and individuals. I will make Great Britain safe again! I’m working on solutions as we speak.’
In another tweet, he said: ‘I will prioritise Christian culture and identity above any other culture. Christianity must be predominant and celebrated over anything else in the whole country. It must take centre pride.’
