Danny Beard ‘gags Big Brother audience’ with swipe at evicted Emily Hewertson
Danny Beard has left viewers ‘screaming’ after taking a ‘savage’ swipe at the first housemate to be evicted in Big Brother.
Emily Hewertson, 25, proved to be a divisive figure during her short stint on the iconic ITV reality series, which kicked off on Sunday night.
An unashamed Conservative political events manager, Emily declared her admiration for Boris Johnson before entering the house and claimed that anyone who won’t date a Tory is ‘missing out’.
However, after being branded a ‘villain’ by viewers, the Tory influencer was evicted in last night’s episode after being made to play the Evil Eye game.
Following her exit from the house former Celebrity Big Brother contestant Danny ‘gagged’ viewers with a brutal jibe directed towards her.
Joined by celebrity panelists Kemi Rodgers, Kate Lawler and host AJ Odudu on the Late & Live after-show, Danny was asked about his thoughts on Emily leaving.

Responding to his comments, numerous viewers on social media could not believe what they had heard.
@superTV247 posted a video of the clip, writing: ‘I SCREAMED!!! This is why Danny Beard should’ve won Big Brother. Gagged the entire audience #BBUK #BBLL.’

Emily’s eviction came after she and housemates Caroline Monk and Sam Ashby – who has been praised as a ‘hero’ by fans – had to vote among themselves to decide which of them should be immediately evicted.
The Tory influencer attempted to convince her fellow housemates she should stay in the house, as this was a ‘once in a lifetime’ opportunity for her, but her protests ultimately fell on deaf ears, and she left the show.
Following her exit, Big Brother fans highlighted a previous interview Emily did on GB News with Dan Wooton, where she spoke about how there should be more ‘right wing views’ on reality TV.
She said: ‘We need more reality TV stars to be open with their views like the days of Big Brother when we had such an uncensored outrageous show.’
