WWE fans furious as surprise return gets ‘spoiled’ hours before Raw
WWE has announced a major return for tonight’s episode of Monday Night Raw with just hours to go.
There’s not long to wait until the weekly show gets underway live on Netflix at 1am, with the Money In The Bank qualifiers set to continue on the red brand’s final show before Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend.
Earlier in the evening, WWE’s social media accounts posted a video of Kairi Sane, who has been out of action due to injury since December 2024.
Alongside a video of the former Women’s Tag Team Champion arriving at the arena, WWE wrote: ‘Woah! 😳 @KAIRI_official is here in Greenville ahead of #WWERaw! 👀’
In a separate video, Raw general manager Adam Pearce confirmed Kairi will be in action against Zoey Stark and Rhea Ripley in a Women’s Money In The Bank qualifying match.
More than six months after her last match, Kairi’s poised for a comeback – but it won’t be the kind of surprise return WWE has done so well over the years.

While fans are undoubtedly excited to have the Pirate Princess back in the fold, plenty of people wished her appearance hadn’t been revealed ahead of time.
‘Why wasn’t this made a surprise?? 😭😭,’ cried @SethJoseph95, while @EpicArtsii added: ‘Happy to see her return but this could have been a surprise.’
‘Should have been a surprise, but happy to see my sky pirate back on action. Now if only we could get Asuka back too then we will be cooking with gas,’ wrote @RockyOkamiVT
And @ForeverBlue_07 complained: ‘Nahhhh why will you spoil it like this?’
The Sky Pirate could qualify for Money In The Bank.

Others are already calling for Kairi to go all the way and win the Money In The Bank briefcase in a few weeks.
Fan @tigeyyy234 tweeted: ‘What a great news and u guys still complaining at least she is returning guys I am excited 😍🥳 Less go. Kairi for MITB briefcase. (sic)’
And the appropriately named @KairisVotage agreed: ‘KAIRI TAKING THAT BRIEFCASE HOME!!!!!’
