Stacey Solomon ‘doesn’t think’ she had sex with Joe Swash for whole year
Stacey Solomon has made a candid admission about her love life with husband Joe Swash that will relate to many busy parents.
The Loose Women panellist, 35, discussed her bedroom antics with Joe, 42, on the final episode of their BBC reality tv show Stacey & Joe.
Launched earlier this year, the programme takes viewers behind the scenes of the couple’s hectic family life at their £1,200,000 mansion in Essex, Pickle Cottage.
It also stars their youngest children, Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two, Stacey’s first son with ex-boyfriend Dean Cox, Zach, 17, and her son Leighton, 12, with ex-fiancé Aaron Barnham.
In Stacey & Joe’s closing scenes, which were filmed over the Christmas period, the couple reveal their plans for 2025.
After stating his desire to find ‘enlightenment’, Joe said: ‘Maybe we could make another kid next year.’
Shooting him down, Stacey replied: ‘I don’t think so.’
While giggling, she continued: I don’t think we had sex in 2024. We haven’t seen each other.’
The conclusion of Stacey & Joe comes after reports that Stacey is having second thoughts about the programme.
It’s claimed she ‘regrets’ signing up to the show over fears it portrays her and Joe in an unflattering light.
A source told The Sun: ‘Stacey is regretting signing up to do the show. She’s not used to the backlash they are getting as everything she touches normally turns to gold.’
The insider claimed Stacey was struggling with negative comments concerning arguments arising from Joe’s time management issues and her love of organisation.
Joe was previously the subject of Stacey & Joe viewers’ ire after he returned home five hours late after a fishing trip, forcing her to simultaneously attend to an important business meeting and crying children.
They added: ‘She feels like she is coming across as bossy. He can’t manage anything without her, so she is forced to be the “grown-up”. It’s caused friction.’

However, Joe previously explained that it was ‘important’ for Stacey & Joe viewers to have an authentic portrayal of their relationship – warts and all.
He told Closer: ‘So many people represent their lives as being so perfect on Instagram. It’s our responsibility to show the real – the highs and the lows. It’s not all a bed of roses. Sometimes we argue.’
Stacey and Joe first met in 2010 when she won I’m A Celebrity, while he presented the spin-off show.
They started dating in 2016 and got married at their home in 2022.
Stacey & Joe is available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
