Fans of Celebrity Big Brother have slammed the ‘vile’ comments made about Jack P Shepherd’s appearance after he previously opened up about struggling with an eating disorder.
Last night’s episode on ITV saw a startling revelation revealed during a game of two truths and a lie, played by housemates including JoJo Siwa, Chris Hughes, Chesney Hawkes and Jack.
During his round, Jack, 37, told how he reached the final audition to play the role of Harry Potter and was in the running to play Billy Elliot before the role went to Jamie Bell.
But, fans were even more surprised to see guests on Big Brother’s Late and Live show, including former housemate Tiffany Pollard, whose remarks about the Coronation Street star’s appearance left audience members in shock.
Speaking on Reddit, a fan called ProfessionProof5284 expressed their anger over Jack’s appearance and size being ‘mocked’ when in the past, ‘he has been open about struggling with an eating disorder’. ‘Do Big Brother not give a flying f*** about mental health/mental illnesses or safeguarding their housemates AT ALL?’ they said.
On ITV’s website, the broadcaster outlines the welfare package that is used to support housemates. During the series, this includes mental health professionals being available to them for ongoing support, as well as their welfare being monitored 24 hours a day and daily meetings being held ‘to discuss welfare matters and respond appropriately where required’.

In their post, the Reddit user wrote: ‘How they have allowed Tiffany to speak about Jack – especially tonight was vile. Not funny at all… Let’s imagine the genders were reversed here.
‘Jack has been open about struggling with an eating disorder in his life , BB are aware of this, so the fact BB is allowing housemates (housemates to be) like Trish and Tiff to mock his size is absolutely appalling.’
Speaking on Late and Live on Wednesday night, Tiffany said in the studio: ‘I like a man with a thin c**k,’ sparking gasps from the audience.
The reality star continued: ”Cause I don’t want him to do much damage. Find my G-spot and please it. I feel like that’s what Jack sums up.’
Presenter Will Best interrupted Tiffany, addressing the camera as he said: ‘I’d just like to say, we cannot comment on Jack’s… right guys!’ before changing the subject.

In the Reddit post calling out the commentary on Jack’s appearance, the Celebrity Big Brother fan also brought up comments Patsy Palmer had made, when she said that she chose to nominate the actor for eviction because she thought that he looked like the Joker.
‘So basically saying he looks like a scary, unhinged clown. She should NEVER have been allowed to use that as a nomination excuse,’ they stated.
Another user Sympathyissaknife commented beneath saying: ‘You’re right. If Jack was a woman it wouldn’t be okay so I’m not sure how it’s being swept under the rug like this.
‘Patsy’s “Joker” nomination reasoning was utterly bizarre. Still can’t tell if it was a joke.’
Zestyclose_Visit4834 opened up about their personal experience of recovering from an eating disorder and having body dysmorphia, writing: ‘To anyone those comments would sting, to someone with an ED/BD, that is absolutely shattering to hear someone nominated you because your appearance is apparently so disturbing to them.’

They added: ‘It’s so incredibly easy to just not comment on someone’s weight, or intimate parts. I don’t get why it’s still so common place in 2025 when we know the impact these kind of comments can have on a person’s mental wellbeing.’
In 2021, Jack revealed that he was struggling with an eating disorder as he hit back at a troll who made cruel comments about his appearance.
A user commented online that ‘he looks like someone who could do with a good feed’, adding that the star looked ‘far too thin’.
Responding, Jack said: ‘I have an eating disorder. Thank you for being nice.’
Speaking on Lorraine this morning, Jack’s fiancé Hanni Treweek claimed that he had ‘a lot more to give’.
Jack and Hanni got engaged during a romantic safari holiday in the Serengeti in June 2024.
The pair met when Hanni was a storyline writer and researcher on Corrie, and they will tie the knot on July 26 of this year.
Speaking to Christine Lampard on Lorraine, Hanni said: ‘He’s had no reality tv experience. This is the first time he’s done anything like this.
‘He’s going through a journey. He’s got way more to show. He is in there to have a good time and have fun. He’s making us laugh.
‘He’s doing such a good job in the house, we’re all so proud of him. Everything’s very new. Even with Patsy and Jack when they first started, Patsy nominated Jack but now they’re getting on so well.’
Discussing his tea ‘addiction’, Hanni added that in a normal day he drinks around eight cups of tea but in the Big Brother house she thinks he is into double digits.
Metro has contacted ITV and Tiffany Pollard’s representatives for comment.
Celebrity Big Brother is available to watch on ITV at 9pm.
